Silicon Labs Introduces BG22L and BG24L "Lite" Bluetooth LE SoCs

Silicon Labs introduced the BG22L and BG24L SoCs for Bluetooth LE connectivity, with "L" representing the new application-optimized Lite devices. These new ultra-low power Bluetooth devices are optimized for applications like asset tracking tags, remote control, and small appliances. The BG22L delivers robust security and processing for common Bluetooth devices, while BG24L supports advanced AI/ML acceleration and Channel Sounding.

The OCA Alliance, the trade association supporting the AES70 standard for Open Control Architecture, is to host a unique event at Integrated Systems Europe 2025. Renesas Electronics Corporation introduced the RX23W Module with full Bluetooth 5.0 Low Energy support for system control and wireless communication on endpoint connected devices. Featuring the RX23W 32-bit RX MCU supporting fully integrated Bluetooth Low Energy communication, the new RX23W module is equipped with an antenna, oscillator and custom-matched circuit. A solution ready for the development of connected home appliances, healthcare and sports and fitness equipment.
