Pascal Acquires WorxAudio from Fender and Appoints Hugh Sarvis to Lead New Blaze Audio Loudspeaker Development Team

In what is certainly great news for all other OEM amplifier companies, Pascal A/S of Copenhagen, Denmark, which recently had decided to compete directly with its former amplifier clients with the launch of Blaze Audio, is now also going to sell speakers, competing directly with what last clients it still had. To push forward with this strategy, Pascal acquired the former WorxAudio IP from Presonus/Fender and hired its veteran team, led by Hugh Sarvis.

Pascal has unveiled a range of amplifier modules with features and performance optimized for integration within power amplifier designs, across the breadth of live sound and commercial and custom installation applications. A range of six modules enables both constant voltage (100/70 V) and low impedance output mode operation and a wide range power configurations; for half rack 1RU to full 19” 2RU form factors.

The Summer in Denmark was apparently a busy season and Pascal Audio has been working on very interesting new amplifier modules. The company just releases the new L-PRO2 series amp modules, which provide 50% more power from the same form factor as S-PRO series. As the company details, the new L-PRO2 series represents a new standard in power density for Class-D power amplification, as the world’s smallest 1500 W RMS amp module.
