Shure Hires Sam Sabet as New Chief Technology Officer

After a thorough search process, Shure has named Sam Sabet as its new Chief Technology Officer, replacing Avi Vaidya, who retired from that role. Sabet joins Shure after serving as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Head of Product Development and Delivery at Crestron Electronics.

Soundskrit, the Canadian company determined to evolve MEMS microphones for consumer electronics, announced the availability of its second product, the SKR0410, touted as the world’s first digital directional MEMS microphone. The SKR0410 brings the latest innovations in MEMS and acoustic transducer design to the digital domain to enable directional audio capture in consumer devices of all form factors.

Anticipating the company's presentation at Embedded World 2023, XMOS has launched the XVF3800, a quick-to-market, high-performance voice processor for enterprise and consumer voice conferencing platforms. The XVF3800 combines acoustic echo cancellation (AEC), multiple adaptive beamformers, noise suppression, AGC, and more, and will be available along with a development kit, the XK-VOICE-SQ66.
