Volumio Introduces Motivo Flagship Streamer, Transport and Headphone Amp

Volumio, the Italian company that created the popular free music player, continues to invest in hardware and now announced the launch of a new flagship streamer and music player with a focus on user interface. Crafted to redefine the music experience, the Motivo streamer stands out with its 8" IPS multitouch display, being an integrated streamer\headphone amplifier based on the established ESS Sabre 9038 DAC and offering multiple I2S, USB, and S/PDIF digital outputs.

Hegel has introduced their reference integrated amplifier. The H600 is rated for 303 watts in 8 ohms, with a damping factor of 4000, and 2 ohms drive capability - core specifications that Hegel considers are key for an amplifier to drive any speaker with confidence and ease. In line with the company's obsession of dual everything, the amplifier is a dual mono design. It also boasts a state-of-the-art preamplifier with the same extremely precise volume attenuator found in the Hegel reference P30A amplifier.

Polish audio manufacturer HEM continues to introduce new high-end audio products under its brand Ferrum. First it launched the HYPSOS hybrid power system, followed by the OOR headphone amplifier, and the ERCO USB-C DAC with headphone preamp, establishing a new reference in quality and price for a desktop high end design. Now, the company introduced the new WANDLA, a flagship DA converter that can also be powered by the HYPSOS.

ROHM Semiconductor announced that it has developed the new BD34352EKV digital-to-analog converter IC (DAC) and corresponding evaluation board (BD34352EKV-EVK-001), supporting playback of high-resolution audio sources in high-fidelity audio equipment. Complementing its latest MUS-IC BD34301EKV flagship DAC, the new product was designed to maximally extract and convert high resolution digital audio data to analog audio signals in new product designs.
