Langer EMV-Technik Announces PA 2522 Compact Preamplifier for Low Signal Measurements from 10MHz up to 22GHz

The new PA 2522 preamplifier from Langer EMV-Technik can be used to amplify weak measurement signals from near-field probes, connected to the 50Ω input of a spectrum analyzer or oscilloscope. It stands out because of its low noise behavior and a constantly high dynamic range over an extremely wide frequency range, from 10MHz to 22GHz. The preamplifier is powered by the included power adapter.

Test and measurement accessories specialist, Cal Test introduced three new unique BNC to banana jack attenuating adapters, bridging oscilloscope functionality with DMM test lead durability. What is unique is that in addition to being fully insulated BNC male to 4 mm sheathed banana jack adapters, they are attenuating adapters providing 1,000V CAT II and 600V CAT III protection. Providing a 1MΩ impedance and accepting 4mm sheathed banana plugs, the adapters allow for work in higher voltages and CAT environments such as electrical panel mains.
