Elytone Expands Parametric Monitoring and Control Capabilities for Dante Director

Elytone partnered with Audinate on the development of extended capabilities for Dante Director, focused on adding parametric monitoring and controls for Dante devices. At Infocomm 2024, Elytone has enabled basic amplifier monitoring on it's AMP-NAP-140C4 V2 Networked Amplifier as an early demonstration to gather input and establish partnerships with manufacturers to further develop and expand the Dante Director platform and potentially tie into other device management applications.

AVPro Edge has introduced the AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C, a 24-port 10 Gigabit hybrid PoE++/PoE+ professional installation switch, providing unique features. This 24-port 10 Gigabit Ethernet switch seamlessly supports a wide-ranging of audio and video-over-IP applications, including AES67, Dante, SDVoE, and more. The AVPro Edge AC-MXNET-10G-SW24C switch delivers 8 ports with PoE++ output capability and 16 ports with PoE+, all optimized for Dante audio streams.

I returned from Barcelona, Spain, after five exhausting days, which were not easy for anyone in the audio industry who was forced to fly from the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA directly to Europe. I wrote this First Impressions ISE 2024 report in an effort to summarize this extremely well organized and successful event - celebrating the show's 20th anniversary. I discuss what is sustaining this systems integration event that everyone understands as many different things, and what does it means for the audio industry.
