Nureva Updates HDL300 Audio Conferencing Systems and Introduces Intelligent Sound Targeting

Nureva just announced intelligent sound targeting, a new patent-pending feature of its Microphone Mist technology platform that powers its HDL300 and Dual HDL300 audio conferencing systems. The new technology allows managing undesired sound sources in audio conferencing sessions. Nureva also announced a firmware update that includes new customizable audio settings, new auxiliary audio modes for interoperability with third-party systems, and refinements to audio performance.

Nureva announced that its HDL300 audio conferencing system has won an NSCA 2018 Excellence in Product Innovation Award. The fourth annual awards from the National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) recognize products that have a profound impact on systems integrators in the commercial space as well as impact user experience. The company's integrated microphone and speaker bar solution was recognized in the newly introduced Trailblazing Innovation category.

Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2018, the fifteenth edition of the world’s largest AV and systems integration show, was the largest business-to-business event for the professional audiovisual, electronic systems integration and related IT industries, with the largest exhibition area, the largest number of exhibiting companies (1288) and the largest international attendance, supplanting largely the two shows promoted by the two founding associations CEDIA and Avixa/InfoComm International.

Collaboration-solutions company Nureva is doing for audio conferencing technology what the Amazon Echo speaker did to home audio. It created a new category of “smart” devices with the potential completely disrupt the market. Now, at the 2018 Integrated Systems Europe show, Nureva is expanding the HDL300 system to reach out larger spaces and showing enhancements to its audio manager software, which is now automatically able to detect and perform updates.

InfoComm, is North America's largest audio-visual trade show, and the 2017 edition attracted more than 40,000 visitors for the first time in its history. That's 13% more than the last time it was held in Orlando, in 2015, and 14% more than InfoComm 2016 in Las Vegas, NV. As the InfoComm International Association confirmed immediately following its InfoComm 2017 event, the show was another record-breaking moment for this thriving sector, which now combines much more than AV commercial integration.

Following a presentation a year ago, the company will launch the new integrated microphone and speaker bar for huddle rooms at InfoComm 2017.
