Cambridge Audio Rebranding and New Evo 150 SE Enhanced Streaming Amplifier

Cambridge Audio, the British brand that has been synonymous with high-performance audio for over five decades, announced a rebranding that is intended to reinforce the connection with people and the power of music. The choice was to drop the "Audio" in the new logo, which will be introduced in the latest 2025 products. The first product to feature the single word is the Evo 150 SE, an enhanced special edition of the company's latest streaming amplifier.

Recognized as one of the firms that pioneered Class-D amplification, today Hypex is an established manufacturer and OEM supplier. Expanding its OEM solutions catalog, the new DSA254 OEM is a cutting-edge audio amplifier module from Hypex Electronics, designed for flexibility and to transcend the boundaries of traditional loudspeaker systems. The new Hypex DSA254 leverages the company's latest NCOREx technology, launched with the NCx500 OEM module, which lowers the distortion and source impedance by a factor of two compared to the previous NCORE series.

Hypex Electronics announced a new and improved iteration of its popular NCORE Class-D amplifier technology and unveiled the NCx500 OEM, the first of a new NCOREx family of modules to be launched. According to the Dutch company, the new technology will afford at least 2x better performance compared to original NCORE products. Hypex will introduce the new NCOREx technology at the ISE and High End shows in May 2022, paving the way for future OEM products.
