Crestron Electronics announced four new Crestron DM NAX Audio Edge Devices to provide seamless interoperability and performance between audio sources for any AV-over-IP system. Unveiled during the last day of ISE 2024, not to obscure the many other announcements for the show from the global leader in home automation, the four new solutions act as audio-over-IP entry points for streaming, Bluetooth, microphones or any analog audio source, such as turntable.

The Lenbrook Group of Companies, owner of NAD Electronics, PSB Speakers, Bluesound, and the renowned BluOS hi-res multiroom platform, has created a new business unit, Lenbrook Media Group. The mission is to more effectively enable the commercialization and development of Lenbrook's content management solutions, as well as pursue new licensing opportunities. With the BluOS content management platform at its core, this group will also oversee the growth of content encoding solutions MQA and SCL6, which Lenbrook acquired in the autumn of 2023.

WiiM Announces WiiM Amp Integrated Streaming Amplifier and Multiroom Audio Streamer

From audio streamers, WiiM has now evolved to a complete integrated amplifier design that is able to power any classic passive speakers, and effortlessly stream any source wirelessly to the whole home. The new WiiM Amp merges a streamer with a TI 3255 Class-D audio amplifier and ESS Sabre premium 32-bit DAC. It offers a range of analog and digital inputs, including HDMI ARC and USB, supporting up to 24-bit/192kHz playback. The new WiiM Amp will be available in silver and space gray for $299 on Amazon.

Crestron Updates Home OS 4 Control Platform and Launches New DM NAX Audio-over-IP Products

Crestron Electronics announced Crestron Home OS 4 will debut at CEDIA Expo 2023 reinforcing the company's position in the global home automation market. The updated platform refines the smart home experience, showcasing a new look and feel with further personalization. Crestron Home OS 4 includes the ability for dealers to add almost any third-party lighting device to the system, and allows homeowners to do more without the need to call for assistance.
