MSE Audio Introduces Soundtube STNet Dante-Enabled Outdoor Surface Mount Speakers

MSE Audio, the parent company of SoundTube Entertainment, Soundsphere, dARTS, Phase Technology, Induction Dynamics, SolidDrive and Rockustics, announced the availability of its latest SoundTube Entertainment STNet IPD-SM52-EZ and IPD-SM82-EZ-II speakers, designed to bring Dante-enabled capabilities outdoors. The new STNet speakers can be setup, managed and monitored in real-time through SoundTube software, simply connected with a Dante audio network.

MSE Audio, the parent company of SoundTube Entertainment, Soundsphere, dARTS, Phase Technology, Induction Dynamics, SolidDrive and Rockustics brands, will be showing its latest developments at CEDIA 2018 in San Diego, California, including the new LA830i two-way columnar line array, from SoundTube Entertainment. MSE Audio will be also launching the industry’s first outdoor smart amplifier, the weatherproof OS-440, and will be demonstrating the latest HV Subwoofers from Phase Technology, now shipping.

MSE Audio is now shipping the HV101-LP, HV101-II and HV121-II subwoofers from Phase Technology. Most notably, the HV101-LP, a “low profile” subwoofer, boasts a unique design, allowing it to be placed underneath furniture to hide it within a room. The new Phase Technology subwoofers feature treated pulp drivers with high-excursion rubber surrounds. Each sub includes on-board DSP smart limiting, along with a gain control, phase switch, variable crossover, L&R inputs and a dedicated LFE input.

An industry first, SoundTube added three pendant speakers to its Dante-enabled line of installed speaker products. The IPD-RS62-EZ and IPD-RS82-EZ use SoundTube’s BroadBeam Ring high-frequency dispersion technology for clear, understandable messaging and music over a wide area, even off-axis from the speakers. The high-power IPD-HP82-EZ uses a BroadBeam HP compression driver with waveguide for use in rooms with extra high ceilings.

Audinate confirmed key adoption milestones for its industry-leading Dante media networking technology at ISE 2017. Dante is now integrated in over 1,000 commercially available products, and licensed to over 350 manufacturers, an increase of 75 since this time last year. Recent licensees span a broad spectrum of markets, including installed sound, live sound, broadcast, transportation and CEDIA, and include notable brands such as Beyerdynamic, Clear-Com, JBL, Lawo, Panasonic, Riedel, Sony and more.
