Mojave Audio Partners with Audio Test Kitchen to Launch Virtual Showroom

Mojave Audio announced a partnership with Audio Test Kitchen (ATK) to launch of a Mojave-specific ATK Player. The software application creates a "virtual showroom" allowing users to virtually test out each microphone in the Mojave line as well as compare them to each other on the same sound clips. The partnership grew out of Mojave’s participation with Audio Test Kitchen, an ambitious website loaded with a 13,000-audio-file database designed to be the ultimate ‘virtual showroom’ for microphones.

Introduced as a modern take on a classic workhorse from the golden age of Hollywood recording, boutique microphone manufacturer Mojave Audio, expanded its family of studio condenser microphones. The new Mojave MA-37 features an EF86 tube, Lundahl transformer and a special capsule built in California. It features a unique mechanical approach, developed by RCA in the 1930s and adapted by Sony – an adjustable tuned acoustic chamber.
