Fairlight Announces Decision to Sell its Professional Audio Business and Focus on Licensing

Fairlight.AU, the Australian technology development company best known for its professional audio products that are used by many broadcasters and producers around the world, has announced that it is actively seeking a buyer for its Professional Audio technology and focus on licensing its existing user-interface technologies. Fairlight’s OEM licensing business includes patented human-machine interface solutions, Picture Key button labelling technology and tactile interfaces.

The new Avid Venue S6L is a fully modular, scalable live sound mixing system that delivers best-in-class functionality for a range of live sound mixing applications, including front-of-house, monitor, broadcast, theater, and more. The networkable modular live sound system meets the demands of large size productions.

Following presentations in all major AV shows around the world, Roland’s M-5000 flagship live mixing console series is slowly gaining some traction in a terribly competitive market. Now Roland decided it was time to introduce the newest model in its O.H.R.C.A. platform with the compact M-5000C version.

Three British console manufacturers have created new ProAudio Group. The surprise announcement confirms the combination of both Allen & Heath and Calrec with DiGiCo, bringing together three British console companies to create a new professional audio group, “while retaining their unique skills, customer relationships and the identities of each brand.”
