Microspeakers are manufactured predominantly in Asia. Many microspeaker manufacturers in Taiwan, Korea, and Hong Kong started in the 1970s with buzzer production, which included household appliances, automotive warnings, telephone ringers, and so forth. Mobile audio products have increased microspeaker consumption and stretched the microspeakers’ sound quality requirements.
