Audio Precision Introduces APx500 Flex Audio Analyzer with Support for Third-Party ASIO Audio Interfaces

Audio Precision unveiled its new APx500 Flex audio analyzer, a completely new class of test and measurement solutions designed to support the use of APx audio measurement software with ASIO-capable third-party audio interfaces or sound cards. With the introduction of APx500 Flex, manufacturers can cost-effectively deploy the measurement capabilities, flexibility and quality of APx software to their production lines at a much lower price.

Lynx Studio Technology introduced the first of several modules for its new Aurora(n) line of A/D and D/A converter interfaces. With the new LM-DIG digital I/O module, all current and future Aurora(n) owners can configure their units with 16 channels of AES/EBU I/O, as a direct replacement/upgrade for the classic Aurora. The first of multiple modules slated for the Lynx converter interface will be available at the end of October 2017.

Studio recording interfaces continue to be a vibrant area with the continuous evolution of technologies and manufacturers increasingly opting for modular solutions to make investments as future proof as possible. During NAMM 2017, Lynx Studio Technology introduced the Aurora(n) line of redesigned converter interfaces, achieving significant performance and feature improvements with 14 new models slated to ship in February 2017.
