New Features and Updates from Klippel for Speaker Designers and Manufacturers

The specialists in electro-acoustical transducers and audio systems test equipment at Klippel GmbH continue hard at work on updating their range of products, recently expanded with the Klippel Controlled Sound Technology (KCS) and adding on the existing features for the Klippel Analyzer System. Here is a summary of the main things that the company implemented recently, including updates to its dB-Lab software and the QC Software Framework.

Genelec has signaled a new era of sustainable growth for its operations with the opening of a brand new extension to its lakeside factory in Iisalmi, Finland. Adopting the latest technologies, the factory extension will significantly increase the space, flexibility and efficiency of the company’s warehousing and logistics operations, while ensuring that the entire facility is now powered exclusively by sustainable sources including solar, wind and hydroelectric energy.

Loudspeaker engineers have few choices for professional forums. The Audio Engineering Society (AES) is an outstanding international organization although not entirely focused on speakers. ALTI (formerly ALMA) is loudspeaker-centric but does not have a strong base in China. The International Symposium on Electro-Acoustic Technologies (ISEAT), founded in 2007, is held every two years and has successfully conducted six sessions.
