IOT747 and AntennaWare Launch Reference Design for Wearable Applications

IOT747, a Cambridge, UK-based supplier of wireless modules and solutions announced a partnership with AntennaWare, the Northern Ireland-based developer of Bluetooth and Ultra-Wideband (UWB) antenna solutions for wireless wearables. The partnership integrates AntennaWare BodyWave Antenna with the IDC737 Bluetooth module in an example reference design for long-range and wearable applications.

Jabra launched the Jabra Evolve2 Buds, the newest product in Jabra's Evolve series. With lessons learned from the pandemic and remote work, the new Evolve2 Buds are truly designed as "earbuds for professionals" featuring Jabra MultiSensor Voice and Advanced Bluetooth multipoint connectivity. And once again, the solution was to bundle USB dongles to avoid Bluetooth unreliability, obtaining a longer range solution certified for virtual meeting applications including Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

NXP Semiconductors announced the availability of new devices within its KW3x family of microcontrollers (MCUs). The new KW39/38/37 MCUs add Bluetooth 5.0 long-range capabilities and expanded Bluetooth advertising channels. These enhancements are made while offering seamless migration with hardware, software and tools compatibility with the previous generation of devices, KW34/35/36. The new wireless MCU solutions allow developers to address emerging use cases within automotive applications.
