Lectrosonics Promotes Wes Herron to President and Karl Winkler to Executive VP of Product Design and Distribution

The Board of Directors of Lectrosonics, the renowned manufacturer of wireless audio systems, announced the appointment of Wes Herron as the new President of Lectrosonics, and the promotion of Karl Winkler to Executive Vice President of Product Design and Distribution. Current President Gordon Moore retires after 35 years with the company. According to the US manufacturer based in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, the new appointments will oversee the development of Lectrosonics’ next generation of products.

Lectrosonics introduced the new DPR digital plug-on transmitter and the DSQD/AES-3 receiver. Designed for demanding production applications, the pure digital architecture of the D Squared series enables AES 256-CTR encryption for high level security applications in both the DPR and the DSQD/AES3, meeting FIPS 197 and 140-2 standards. Meanwhile, the New Mexico-based company produced a new video series - Wireless Side Chats - to educate users about digital wireless audio transmission.
