AES Announces Detailed Program Schedule for 154th AES Europe 2023 Convention

The Audio Engineering Society has released Technical Program details for the upcoming AES Europe 2023 Convention, being held at Aalto University, Espoo, Helsinki, Finland, May 13 – 15. Full details of the schedule, full slate of research paper presentations, along with workshop details, session content and presenters reveal extensive insights into the latest audio technologies and techniques. The interactive online schedule also includes abstracts for all sessions.

Based on key topics raised during an Iron Mountain Entertainment Services (IMES) and Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing (P&E Wing) co-hosted 2021 summit “Protecting Legacies: The Art, Science and Value of Music Archives,” IMES, the P&E Wing and the Audio Engineering Society (AES) developed a survey to assess current practices and challenges in audio archiving. The survey was sent to approximately 4,000 members of the P&E Wing and 11,000 members of the AES.

The Audio Engineering Society recently held its first International Conference on Audio Archiving, Preservation & Restoration to a sold-out crowd of attendees at the Library of Congress National Audio-Visual Conservation Center (NAVCC) Packard Campus in Culpeper, Virginia, June 28-30, 2018. Iron Mountain Entertainment Services was the platinum sponsor, with the RIAA, and Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing also sponsoring the event.
