High End 2024 - Streaming Coming of Age

High End 2024. Digital music players, streaming players, music streamers. Music sources in audio shows are changing. The industry is embracing music streaming services. At AXPONA 2024 and at the High End 2024, the prevalent music source in all demos and listening rooms are the latest class of network music streamers and digital audio players. This is my second article expanding on my personal experience at the excellent Munich audio show.

WiSA Association, the subsidiary of WiSA Technologies, and CITECH, a leading South Korean manufacturer, announced the two companies have entered into a strategic partnership designed to integrate WiSA's latest WiSA E wireless audio software solution into CITECH's HiFi ROSE line of media streamers. CITECH showcased its WiSA E transmitter and corresponding receiver modules at the High End 2024 show in Munich.

Even under the very unusual circumstances of a full year without trade-shows and the global pandemic continuing to disrupt the industry and many manufacturers' plans, EISA, the Expert Imaging & Sound Association revealed the winners of its 2021-2022 Awards. Technical experts from 60 leading specialist magazines and websites in 29 countries across the world have recognized and awarded no fewer than 86 products as the best in their categories, awarding performance and innovation in Consumer Electronics.

MQA (Master Quality Authenticated), the pioneering audio technology company that delivers the sound of the original master recording in a fully authenticated file that is small enough to stream or download, continues to grow its network of international partners and expand its reach. While there may be no Munich High End Show this year, the British company has been active licensing new partners, and certifying more home and mobile products.
