Devialet Invents a Better Wheel With the Phantom Loudspeaker

Devialet surprised the high-end world two weeks before the CES 2015 with the announcement of a completely new loudspeaker concept: the Phantom speaker. In their own words, the Devialet Phantom is “a sound center, meaning, a system that receives via Wi-Fi music from your everyday devices, it processes the signals and emits sound replacing your speakers … and it’s also the most efficient speaker in the world!

The Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and the Japan Audio Society (JAS) agree to provide the High-Resolution Audio logo (Hi-Res Audio or HRA) to CEA members and promote it to consumers. “Having a common logo will help establish consistency and assist consumers in navigating this exciting, steadily emerging market,” says Gary Shapiro, CEA president and CEO.
