Listen Technologies and Ampetronic Further Their Strategic Partnership

Listen Technologies, specializing in advanced wireless listening solutions, and Ampetronic, specialists in audio induction loop systems, are further aligning their operations, leadership, and resources to leverage global growth opportunities generated by Auracast technology. Owned by Swedish conglomerate Allvida, a rapidly growing group of companies focused on accessibility, operating on a global scale and managed by investment firm Systematic Growth, the two companies combine their decades of expertise to redefine assistive listening and communication.

Now owned by Swedish conglomerate Allvida, Listen Technologies and Ampetronic have partnered to create a single, global source of the broadest range of audio solutions to help people hear clearly in challenging listening environments. Beginning January 1, 2024, Utah-based Listen Technologies will be the exclusive representative for Ampetronic hearing loop systems in North America, and the British company will represent Listen Technologies solutions in the UK.

Williams AV, a leading provider of assistive communication technology for the professional AV industry, announced that UK-based Audiologic has officially inked a distribution partnership covering the UK and Ireland beginning January 1, 2024, and the company’s Digi-Loop hearing loop products will once again be available in the UK and North American markets beginning January 2024.

Williams AV, specializing in assistive communication solutions, from traditional hearing loops to WiFi-based systems, promoted a proof-of-concept demonstration of a Bluetooth Auracast alternative. Aiming to gain feedback from professional system integrators attending InfoComm 2023 in Orlando, FL, Williams AV has shown how the Auracast technology works, the various components of an Auracast solution, and an overview of potential Pro AV assistive communication applications.

Listen Technologies has launched the next generation of its audio-over-Wi-Fi solution at InfoComm 2023 and rebranded the solution as ListenWIFI. ListenWIFI will replace Listen Technologies’ Listen EVERYWHERE solution when it becomes available later this year. This next-generation audio-over-Wi-Fi assistive listening solution lets users access audio seamlessly based on location and meets international compliance requirements.

Listen Technologies celebrated it's 20th anniversary at InfoComm 2018. The company introduced its newest range of Audio Everywhere solutions, the first public demonstration in the United States since the audio-over-Wi-Fi product was announced, following the acquisition of technology from ExXothermic. The company also showcased new accessories for its wireless, two-way communication product, ListenTALK, and announced the debut of new C Series hearing loop amplifiers, in partnership with Ampetronic.
