Powersoft Reveals Plans for New Headquarters in Florence, Italy

Powersoft, the audio amplification, signal processing and transducer systems specialist company from Florence, Italy, has announced plans for its new headquarters in the region. The building, an innovative design by renowned architect Alfonso Femia, will also host Powersoft's Human Audio Experience Center. The new headquarters, will centralize all the company's departments and will accommodate the projected increase in the size of the company's workforce.

DPA Microphones, the Danish manufacturer of high-quality microphones, has opened new headquarters in Kokkedal, Denmark, a convenient suburb of Copenhagen, relocating from the original building in Allerød. The modernized space will put an emphasis on the brand's research and development (R&D) facilities, with significant upgrades and new studio spaces that encourage more creativity. The DPA production plant remains located in Asnæs, Denmark.

PK Sound, the robotic line array company, is now fully operational in its newly purchased 50,000 sq. ft. headquarters and manufacturing facility at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Alberta, Canada. With significantly more space for PK’s manufacturing, engineering, R&D, and operations departments, the move enables the company to capitalize on growing international demand with shortened lead times for new product deliveries.

Outgrowing its previous US headquarters, Powersoft has moved offices to a larger and more suitable space in Flanders, New Jersey, for the increasing requirements of the company. This expansion is further supported by the appointment of Sara Schiffler as the new business development manager for the Americas. The move and appointment will help better serve partners and clients, while supporting Powersoft’s expansion in the region.

Nanusens, the innovative research venture working on nano-sensors built inside CMOS devices, recently received significant funding that will enable it to expand its operations and hire new staff. Nanusens is also a finalist for the Design Team of the Year in the prestigious Elektra Awards 2020. The company, headquartered in the United Kingdom, with R&D centers in Barcelona, Spain and Shenzen, China, has designed a novel way to enable the higher frequency bands needed by 5G mobile phones, something that presents a challenge with current technology.

Danish loudspeaker legend Dynaudio celebrated the grand opening of its new headquarters for North and South American operations with its Annual Rep Summit, held Aug. 21-22, in the Chicago suburb of Northbrook, Illinois. The 25,000-square-foot facility is dedicated largely to the new Dynaudio Experience Center, which will be utilized for product demonstrations and dealer and sales rep training sessions, as well as housing a larger warehouse to support product demand in the region.

Following a year of continuing accelerated growth, Danish pro audio amplifier electronics manufacturer Pascal A/S kicked off 2018 with a transition to newly expanded headquarters and facilities, featuring a state-of-the-art EMC test laboratory. Completion of the 55 percent expansion of its HQ, on the outskirts of Copenhagen, was the closing high note of 2017, a year in which the company, once again, eclipsed its growth targets.
