British audio brand Q Acoustics announced the Q Active 200 bookshelf speakers, its first active design, soon to be complemented with the Q Active 400 tower speakers. To achieve those goals, the speakers feature two Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) drivers from Tectonic Audio Labs, with its wide directivity output, and controlled modal behavior.

WiSA unveiled its WiSA SoundSend audio transmitter, the Association’s first branded product to hit the market since its inception. The SoundSend is an HDMI (or optical)-connected transmitter designed to make wireless multichannel audio accessible in minutes to nearly every smart TV. SoundSend allows for instant transmission of smart TV content to WiSA Certified speakers for a true cinema sound experience at home without speaker wires. The product will be available for purchase in November of 2020 and will retail for $179 US MSRP.

NAD Electronics announced the launch of the T 758 V3i, a performance update to the T 758 A/V Surround Sound Receiver. The T 758 V3i ($1,499 U.S. MSRP) begins shipping in August 2020.
