The new generation Lawo mc²56 mixing console was unveiled at the IBC 2018 show in Amsterdam. At at a time when the German company is expanding its portfolio of solutions to cover virtually every single area of an IP-based content production infrastructure, for any format or distribution platform, Lawo did not forget its core audio solutions. The new Lawo mc²56 expands its power and capabilities, creating the first IP-native audio production to fully support all relevant AoIP standards, from SMPTE 2110 and AES67, to RAVENNA, DANTE or even MADI digital audio streams.
