Flow DSP Announces Exciting Integrations and Partnerships at CES 2025

One of the most unexpected booths at NAMM 2025 was undoubtedly that of Flow DSP, the Integrated Development Environment for Audio that was created by Tymphany and is now becoming a separate business unit. Flow DSP has recently joined the Qualcomm Voice & Music Extension Program to help deliver innovative DSP and AI solutions for the audio industry running on Snapdragon Sound platforms. The Flow DSP team also announced an exciting integration with Elk Audio, creating an embedded Linux platform that runs VSTs with 2ms latency.

To support the growing number of projects that Tymphany is involved with, encompassing transducers, amplification, DSP, and fully integrated systems for pro audio, consumer or automotive, the company created its own software platform for prototyping, tuning and deployment. Tymphany Peerless Flow DSP is a new software development platform with a library of algorithms and a user-friendly interface that eliminates the need for coding, thus reducing time to market.

Following the announcement that Tymphany partnered with the Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (IIS) in Germany to provide new state-of-the-art spatial audio solutions to audio manufacturers, Tymphany now confirms that at the CES 2024 show in Las Vegas, the two companies will demonstrate new reference designs for both headphones and speakers. These demonstrations will take place at Suite #26336 of the Venetian.

The Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (IIS), headquartered in Erlangen, Germany, and Tymphany have partnered to provide state-of-the-art spatial audio solutions to audio manufacturers. The two companies have worked together to integrate Fraunhofer's audio processing suites and audio technologies into Flow DSP, Tymphany's own DSP platform and design framework which allows creating immersive audio features in new audio products.
