Waves Announces New Commercial Audio Product Line with First Installation-Focused DSP Engines

Waves Audio, a well respected company in professional audio signal processing technologies with applications spanning from consumer audio and studio production to live sound, announced the first products in a new Waves Commercial Audio line: the Waves CA1000 and CA2000 Commercial Audio DSP Engines. Recognizing the widespread adoption of Dante audio networking technology, the first Commercial Audio products from Waves are designed to fit right in that predominant ecosystem.

Taking small-format mixing to the next level for both professional and novice users alike, QSC introduced Version 3.0 for its TouchMix-8 and TouchMix-16 Series compact mixers and Version 1.2 for the TouchMix-30 Pro digital mixing console. The new firmware is available as a free download for current users and will be factory-installed in new production units going forward.

Harman’s dbx announced the introduction of its AFS2 Advanced Feedback Suppression Processor at InfoComm 2014 in Las Vegas. Successor to the popular AFS224, the AFS2 provides state-of-the-art feedback elimination using an all-new DSP module for faster and more focused filter sets in both fixed and live mode.
