Sound Particles Introduces AudioMatrix Utility Plugin

Sound Particles, the innovative audio technology software house is not stopping its pace of development. While its core particles sound design software is being used in almost all movie blockbusters, including the latest Indiana Jones or Mission Impossible, the Portuguese company now announced the launch of AudioMatrix, an audio routing utility plugin designed to empower all audio professionals working with complex multichannel content for immersive formats.

Nugen Audio, developer of modern tools for today’s production environments, has announced the release of six new software bundles specifically designed to deliver its proprietary algorithms in inspiring, workflow enhancing combinations for music and post-production engineers. The new bundles now feature the latest generation of software tools for post-production, loudness management, metering, and mixing/mastering.

During NAB 2017, NUGEN Audio unveiled its new Halo Downmix, a highly creative solution for precise downmixing of feature-film and 5.1 mixes to stereo. Another important tool in the Halo series of professional audio solutions for production, post-production and broadcast, the new downmixing software was designed to provide complete control on how a stereo mix will sound, as well as conversion of higher channel surround productions to standard 5.1.

Waves Audio and DTS have collaborated to create the DTS Neural Surround Collection, a bundle including three real-time audio processing plugins – DTS Neural Surround DownMix, DTS Neural Surround UpMix and DTS Neural Mono2Stereo. Together, these plugins provide a discrete-sounding, end-to-end surround delivery system for any live broadcast or post-production situation.
