Antelope Audio Announces Discrete 8 Thunderbolt and USB Interface with Modeling Microphones

Antelope Audio launched its new Discrete 8 Thunderbolt & USB Interface with accompanying Edge and Verge modeling microphones, available as various bundles. According to Antelope, this solution will bring a new level of creativity to studios, by combining a powerful audio interface with the FPGA Accusonic 3D Modeling Engine, which enables both Edge and Verge to emulate any type of microphone and circuit, with complete control over proximity effect, off-axis response, and polar patterns, during or after recording!

Yamaha announced the first of a new generation of large format digital mixing consoles at the InterBEE (International Broadcast Equipment Exhibition) Show in Japan. The new RIVAGE PM10 features a new TWINLANe ring network backbone, able to handle up to 400 audio channels at 96kHz, features the RY16-ML-SILK mic preamplifier with digital modeling of Rupert Neve Designs’ circuits and new effects by TC Electronic and Eventide.
