Test Bench - Beyma 12MC500 12” Pro Sound Woofer

This month’s Test Bench focuses on Acustica Beyma’s 12MC500 12” pro audio woofer. This unique woofer with competitive features and performance for a 2,5” voice coil ceramic magnet design features Malt Cross technology, Beyma´s patented advanced cooling system and handles up to 1000 w program power, managing to drastically reduce losses due to power compression. Beyma introduced its WR family, which is composed by three new designed low frequency drivers: 10” (10WR300), 12” (12WR400) and 15” (15WR400). The WR family was designed to replace the existing SM family, to be discontinued in January 2016, and was first introduced at the 2015 NAMM Show.

Beyma will be present at the 2015 NAMM Show from January 22-25, exhibiting at the Arena Hall, Booth 7310. The Spanish loudspeaker specialist will display some of its latest products and introduce a new speaker family, the WR Series, aiming for a wide range of target applications. For the moment Beyma only confirms that the series will feature 10”, 12” and 15” woofers.
