Nagra Adds a New Digital Source to Its Product Range

Audio Technology Switzerland announced the introduction of a new digital source. 30 years after the then state-of-the-art Nagra D, the first high resolution digital recorder, and almost 20 years after the Nagra CDC reference CD player, Nagra is releasing a streamer. In a compact format but packed with features, the new design can play all current high resolution formats. The Nagra Streamer will be premiered at High End 2024 in Munich.

Audio Technology Switzerland, the company that manufactures Nagra products introduced a new turntable. The Reference turntable joins the limited edition Reference Anniversary turntable in Nagra's flagship Reference line of products. The epitome of luxury audio now becomes a bit more accessible for those seeking the ultimate technical refinement with the solid foundation of a name that ensures long lasting value.

The result of more than four years of R&D efforts, Nagra's new ambitious phono stage is finally in production and the first units are shipping worldwide. Audio Technology Switzerland is already delivering the first units of this new Nagra design, the ideal companion to the Reference turntable and Reference MC cartridge. When all three systems are combined they form the ultimate analog source - a reference playback solution for LP lovers.

The Swiss company is celebrating its 70th anniversary in style with a limited edition product. The Nagra Reference Anniversary turntable is the product of a major research and development project. And like the original Nagra recorders, the Nagra Reference Anniversary turntable was designed to be cherished by generations. Only 70 units will be available, and each includes “in home” setup and dial-in by Nagra factory specialists. Owners will also be invited for a VIP tour to the Nagra factory.

During the 2017 High End show in Munich, Audio Technology Switzerland announced it is developing its most ambitious Nagra Audio preamplifier ever. The Swiss company says the new preamplifier, built around the existing HD DAC and HD AMP will complement the existing Nagra HD range, and will be called simply the HD Preamp. The concept will be available for demonstration this summer and is scheduled for release in the fall 2017.
