Prism Sound Launches ADA-128 Modular Audio Conversion System

Prism Sound’s long history of developing high quality studio interfaces and conversion products has reached new heights with the launch of the ADA-128 – a modular audio conversion system offering up to 128 channels of 32-bit A/D and D/A conversion at sample rates of up to 768kHz. According to the British company, which is now part of the Audio Squadron group of companies, managed by US based Tracktion, this new modular system brings new levels of flexibility to the professional audio market.

Prism Sound’s acclaimed Lyra audio interface has been given an aesthetic overhaul to create a uniform look for the entire Prism Sound audio interface range. Lyra now boasts the same sleek black-fronted look that was introduced to Titan and Atlas in 2019. It also features Prism Sound’s new updated logo and can now be controlled using the company’s recently updated software app that is available for both Mac and Windows platforms. This enables musicians, composers and producers to manipulate the unit from their own computer, thus speeding up workflow.

Prism Sound’s Test & Measurement division has re-launched itself specializing exclusively in audio test & measurement solutions and trading under the new name of Spectral Measurement. Prism Media Products Limited, the company behind the innovative dScope Series III Audio Analyzer, will now focus exclusively on developing new audio test & measurement solutions.

Tracktion Software Corporation and 2JW Design announced they have joined forces with Prism Sound and SADiE to create a dynamic new player in the pro audio market, under the umbrella of Audio Squadron. Essentially, the US based company is joining forces with the British manufacturer to work on expanding audio software tools, while also exploring opportunities in the recording hardware front. A collaboration between companies that will remain independent but have both a long history of perseverance and passion for the audio industry.
