iZotope Announces RX Post Production Suite and RX 5 Audio Editor

iZotope promises to take audio repair to the next level with the announcement of RX 5 Audio Editor. The new application was demonstrated for the first time at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) 2015 in Amsterdam, together with the new iZotope RX Post Production Suite which includes audio repair, mixing enhancement, and final delivery solutions.

Cedar Audio and Merging Technologies have agreed on a patent license and now announced the development of a new, 64-bit CEDAR for Pyramix. Cedar Audio’s Retouch introduced the concept of spectral editing in February 2002. Since then, many software companies have licensed the CEDAR's technology and, in 2014, after a dispute with a US company, “the Retouch patent”, was validated.
