The Audio Engineering Society (AES) has been named a recipient of a Technical & Engineering Emmy Award for “Development of Synchronized multi-channel uncompressed audio transport over IP Networks” by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS). The 71st annual Technical & Engineering Emmy Awards will be presented in a special ceremony at the upcoming NAB Show at the Wynn Encore Hotel on Sunday, April 19, 2020, in Las Vegas, NV.

Focusrite Pro showed its full range of Dante-enabled Audio-over-IP interfaces in a dedicated booth during NAMM 2020, where dedicated solutions specialists were on hand to answer any networking questions. For this edition of the Anaheim show, Focusrite announced three new products in the ISA range that bring the classic Focusrite sound to Dante Audio-over-IP networks: The ISA 828 MkII Eight-Channel Mic Preamp, and the ISA ADN2 and ADN8 A/D cards.

Audinate and NXP Semiconductors have collaborated to introduce a new reference design kit for the popular NXP i.MX 8M Mini QuadLite SoC – providing Dante audio-over-IP to OEMs as on-chip software. Following the announced shift from purpose-built hardware to software-based solutions running on standardized hardware, and a similar agreement to supply software running on Linux for x86 and ARM processors, Audinate now extends the support to NXP’s i.MX 8M processors.
