IK Multimedia Announces AI Machine Modeling as a Service Available Online

IK Multimedia announced a new approach to modeling technology available to musicians. After IK Multimedia and many other companies have spent years modeling virtually any combination of guitar amplifiers, cabinets and effects, they now decided it was time to allow users to do it for themselves. The Italian company announced AI Machine Modeling, making its modeling technology available online, for users to create virtual versions of any guitar rig.

IK Multimedia announced iRig Micro Amp, a battery-powered, ultra-compact combo amplifier with three on-board analog channels plus a high-quality digital interface for direct connection to iPhone, iPad, Mac and PC. The compact combo offers powerful sound that rivals larger amps, plus the ability to connect to external cabinets for even more volume. iRig Micro Amp also allows musicians to expand their tone palette by unlocking a variety of amp and FX models in the included AmpliTube software/app bundle, as well as connecting to their favorite apps for learning, recording and playing.

In direct collaboration with the legendary Californian boutique sound manufacturer, Italian digital audio specialists IK Multimedia has created the Fulltone Collection for AmpliTube on Mac and PC, offering convenient and improved software emulations of those glorious hardware effects. In another powerful example of the possibilities of digital emulation, IK Multimedia brought back three of the famous Fulltone effects hardware units for guitar and bass.

IK Multimedia once again redefines a product category for guitarists with the newly released iRig Nano Amp - the versatile micro amp with a built-in iOS interface. iRig Nano Amp gives players both a standalone portable guitar amplifier plus an interface that lets them plug their guitar into an iPhone or iPad and use the AmpliTube app for iOS to access guitar tones on the go. iRig Nano Amp is available now from IK Multimedia and music and electronics retailers around the world.
