ANAM Electronics Announces Strategic Partnership with Linkplay Technology To Deliver Voice Recognition WiFi Audio Products

ANAM Electronics, a division of ANAM Group, manufacturer of premium quality A/V receiver and speaker products, announced a strategic partnership with turnkey WiFi audio solution provider Linkplay Technology. Linkplay is one of the first audio speaker platforms approved for integration with Amazon Alexa Voice Service (AVS). The partnership enables ANAM to bring these capabilities to its portfolio of A/V receiver, audio speaker, amplifier and smart home electronics customers.

Linkplay Technology, a WiFi audio solution provider, and one of the first audio platforms approved for integration with Alexa Voice Service (AVS), hosted 300 attendees from global speaker brands, OEMs and ODMs for an Amazon Alexa technology summit. The one day conference held in Shenzhen, China provided an opportunity to educate customers interested in designing and building Powered by Linkplay products with AVS.

Arrow Electronics has entered into a preferred global agreement regarding Conexant Systems’ audio and voice technology solutions. Arrow is not only distributing, but also sourcing components and providing technical design support for Conexant’s AudioSmart 2-Mic Development Kit for Amazon Alexa Voice Service (AVS).

Alexa Voice Service is a feature increasingly integrated in wireless speakers, but the connected home hub concept goes way beyond speakers. The new TCL/Alcatel Xess Smart Home Hub with Amazon Alexa, is a large tablet-style device with a 17.3-inch screen and integrated JBL audio, providing bedside alarms and allowing users to hear the news, check the weather, control smart home appliances, and much more. It features an integrated IP camera for remote surveillance and video chat, multi-window view and pre-loaded applications.

Linkplay Technology, a WiFi audio solution provider from Palo Alto, CA, announced the broad availability of a WiFi audio solution that integrates with the Alexa Voice Service (AVS). The integration makes it easier and faster for speaker manufacturers to bring devices with Alexa to their customers. Jam Audio already used the WiFi audio solution for its speaker with Alexa, Jam Voice, with push to talk technology. The speaker is available as of October 30, 2016.
