The Audio Engineering Society has opened registration for AES@NAMM Pro Sound Symposium: Live & Studio 2019. Building on the success of the inaugural AES@NAMM Pro Sound Symposium: Live & Studio in 2018, and the organizations' shared mission to continue to strengthen the music and pro audio industries, The National Association of Music Merchants and the Audio Engineering Society have reaffirmed their commitment to providing best-in-class education and professional development opportunities with a three-year agreement for January 2019, 2020 and 2021 at The NAMM Show in Anaheim, California.

David Scheirman has taken office as the new President of the Audio Engineering Society. In continuing its role of promoting audio science and education, the AES welcomes Scheirman and his forty-plus years of experience and expertise in professional audio – and as a long-time active member of the AES, where he’s served three terms on the Board of Governors, along with numerous roles and chair positions at AES conventions and within the AES committee system.

Audio Engineering Society Confirms Annual US Convention to Stay in New York and Reinforced Partnership with NAMM

Audio Engineering Society President, Alex Case confirmed in a statement that the association's annual International Convention in the US will stay in New York also in 2018, leveraging the strong synergies with NAB Show New York that will occur for the first time concurrently with the 143rd International AES Convention, October 18 to 21, 2017, at the Jacob Javits Center. For the West Coast, the AES will reinforce its AES@NAMM partnership with the NAMM Show, in Anaheim, CA.
