VIZIO Announces Availability of All-New 36” 2.1 Soundbar with Built-in Dual Subwoofers

VIZIO announced the retail availability of its all-new 36” 2.1 Soundbar with Built-in Dual Subwoofers. The latest addition to VIZIO’s extensive soundbar lineup delivers powerful, full-bodied bass – often reserved for systems with a separate subwoofer – all from a single elegant soundbar. The 2.1 system with two built-in subwoofers combines premium design and impressive audio in a high-performance package. The new SB362An-F6 soundbar is available now at vizio.com for an MSRP of $139.99 and rolling out soon to Walmart.com, Costco and Meijer.

Vizio recently expanded its SmartCast speaker collection with new very affordable SmartCast Crave Pro and Crave 360 speakers, fully integrating Google Cast technology for simple WiFi whole home audio streaming. The company, recently acquired by Chinese electronics firm LeEco and already America’s #1 sound bar company, is now targeting the expanding multi-room wireless audio segment, benefiting from a full ecosystem of home theater products and SmartCast entertainment app.

With the transition to immersive audio formats which are object-based, Dolby is promoting its new AC-4 audio coding system to bridge both conventional channel-based audio and new immersive formats on next-generation broadcast and streaming services. The solution is available now for product development and is targeted for consumer availability starting in 2017.
