NAMM Show 2017 Promises to Redefine Musical and Pro Audio Trends

The Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, promoted by The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) is always one of the most important annual events for the audio industry, mixing the passion for music, audio production and sound in the most vibrant and happiest environment there is. Winners in 31st technical and creative achievement categories were announced at the 31st Annual NAMM TEC Awards. The award ceremony was held on Saturday, January 23 during the NAMM Show in Anaheim, CA. As always, the important thing is to be nominated, since the TEC Award categories combine products which are very hard to compare and, most of the time, the winners reflect the popularity of the brand.

The NAMM Foundation will once again promote the 31st annual NAMM Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards and the NAMM TECnology Hall of Fame on January 23 at the 2016 NAMM Show. The events honor the best in audio and sound production as well as the most impactful audio technology products from the last 75 years. Record producer and music industry executive Don Was will receive the 2016 Les Paul Award.

Held January 22-25, NAMM 2015 welcomed a record number of exhibitors to Anaheim. Major product debuts, a bumper crop of new-to-NAMM exhibitors paired with engaging thought-leaders created what many NAMM members called the freshest NAMM Show in years. A record 99,342 NAMM Show registrants and a record 1,621 exhibiting companies made it the largest NAMM Show in history.
