Boston 2015 COMSOL Conference on Multiphysics Simulation to Feature Focus Session on Acoustics Simulation

The COMSOL Conference 2015 on multiphysics simulation and application design will be held October 7-9, at the Boston Marriott Newton, Newton, MA. COMSOL’s annual event includes a multitude of hands-on sessions, networking opportunities, keynote talks from industry leaders, and hundreds of user presentations.

Some speaker designers approach their creations based purely on self-acquired knowledge and research, deliberately trying to distance themselves from existing trends and debates. Others, base their work on team efforts, industry partnerships, and sometimes market-oriented options. These are the people who I’ve started to categorize as the Wizards and the Cooks.

From mobile audio to wireless speakers and headphones, from immersive experiences to high resolution audio, there’s never been so much excitement for new technologies and integration. Crowdfunding platforms are helping promote new concepts that companies would normally never consider promoting for themselves (for multiple reasons).

In November 2013, audioXpress received a facelift. We expanded the content, added several new columns and feature articles, increased our focus on audio research and development (R&D), product design, professional audio equipment, and acoustic science while maintaining our roots in DIY audio and audio electronics.
