Yamaha, Steinberg and Harrison Announce Sound-for-Film Strategic Alliance

Yamaha Corporation (Japan) and its wholly owned subsidiary Steinberg Media Technologies (Germany) have announced a three-company strategic alliance with large-format console manufacturer Harrison Audio (United States) to develop solutions for substantially improving the workflow in the sound-for-film industry.

Yamaha has released a free update to its Nuage post-production and studio recording system which allows seamlessly compatibility with Steinberg’s just-released Cubase Pro 8 DAW software - making Nuage an exceptionally powerful and flexible control solution for music production studios.

Steinberg and Yamaha just confirmed that the significantly updated Version 1.5 software for Yamaha’s Nuage post-production system, originally announced in April, will be released on 22nd July, alongside Version 6.5 of Steinberg’s Nuendo DAW.
