Audio Engineering Society to Join The 2018 NAMM Show in New Format: AES at NAMM

With a vision to continue to strengthen the music and pro audio industries, The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) and The Audio Engineering Society (AES) have announced a new collaborative alliance which will integrate pro audio educational training activities related to live sound, performance audio, recording technology and other topics into The 2018 NAMM Show, January 25-28 in Anaheim, California.

The Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, promoted by The National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) is always one of the most important annual events for the audio industry, mixing the passion for music, audio production and sound in the most vibrant and happiest environment there is. NAMM 2016 will be one for the records. Not so much because of product announcements or outstanding technology - which was aplenty, but more because of the shared passion for music, entrepreneurial spirit, and community connection around the music. During four days, the NAMM Show was upbeat and confirmed how important it is to inspire creativity and how the MI market actually matters.

Held January 22-25, NAMM 2015 welcomed a record number of exhibitors to Anaheim. Major product debuts, a bumper crop of new-to-NAMM exhibitors paired with engaging thought-leaders created what many NAMM members called the freshest NAMM Show in years. A record 99,342 NAMM Show registrants and a record 1,621 exhibiting companies made it the largest NAMM Show in history.
