Orange Amplification New ‘O’ Edition Headphones Announced at NAMM 2016

Orange Amplification announced the introduction of their new “O” Edition headphones at Winter NAMM 2016. This is a first for the famous guitar amplification company, revitalized in the last decade. Simple, robust and lightweight, the “O” headphones were designed to appeal to musicians and the brand’s loyal fans, while fulfilling the appetite from music retailers to expand a much needed product segment.

Mackie was one of the first manufacturers to actually have success with iPad controlled digital audio mixers (DL1608 and DL806) and the subsequent rack-mount networked-controlled wireless mixing concept (DL32R). Now Mackie unveiled a bold new solution at NAMM 2016 with the AXIS modular digital mixing system, combining the DL32R, iPads, and the all-new DC16 control surface. A combination greater than the sum of parts.

Sennheiser has streamlined its classic HD 25 pro headphones portfolio to make product selection easier. From March 2016, there will be one classic HD 25 with two sister models – the HD 25 LIGHT, with has slightly different features and accessories, and the HD 25 PLUS, which adds additional accessories to further enhance the classic. Exact version identification and impedance information is now provided on the headband.

Introduced by Waves and DiGiCo as an initiative to accelerate the networked audio concept to live sound and live recording markets, DiGiGrid is now becoming a separate entity with a whole new range of products also addressing the studio and musician markets. The new DiGiGrid Desktop range introduced at NAMM 2016 opens that market.

Among several new products scheduled for unveiling at the forthcoming Winter NAMM 2016 show, Celestion announced it will extend its next generation CF range of high-end ferrite magnet professional audio loudspeakers with a new 4 Ohm CF1840H cast frame model. The new 1000W LF driver features long throw and high sensitivity with superior cooling features.
