Mass Fidelity is Back on Indiegogo with the Rad Portable Wireless Speaker With Radial Dispersion Technology

Mass Fidelity launched the Core wireless speaker on Indiegogo two years ago. The Core set a Canadian record for the most successful crowdfunding campaign ever. The company has been shipping the Core for almost a year and decided to return to Indiegogo with its next product, the raD, a rugged, portable wireless networked speaker leveraging the company’s original radial soundfield design. The raD was designed to be compatible with the Core but also to taken outside and defy rain, dust, and dirt.

From mobile audio to wireless speakers and headphones, from immersive experiences to high resolution audio, there’s never been so much excitement for new technologies and integration. Crowdfunding platforms are helping promote new concepts that companies would normally never consider promoting for themselves (for multiple reasons).

With its Core Wireless Speaker campaign reaching $885,000 at the end of October 2014, technology start-up Mass Fidelity became the top crowd funded Canadian company in history. The Core Bluetooth wireless speaker reached more than 1840% of the company’s goal in its crowdfunding campaign, with 2,500 contributors from over 80 countries around the world.
