AES International Automotive Audio Conference Announces Details for 2019 Events

Taking place September 11 – 13 at the Audi Driving Experience Center in Neuburg an der Donau (Bavaria), Germany, this year’s AES Automotive Audio Conference builds on the overwhelming success of its predecessors by gathering the leading global authorities in Automotive Audio for three days of in-depth examination of the latest trends, challenges and solutions in the field, plus exhibitions and demos showcasing the latest automotive audio technologies.

DPA Microphones announced that it has acquired Sound Network, its UK pro audio distributor with whom it has had a close relationship for more than 20 years. By investing in its valued partner, the Danish company secures its position as a key player in the British market. At the same time, DPA announced the decision to establish a dedicated German sales force, which will allow the brand to get closer to Europe's largest market.

With effect from 1 June 2017, the Administrative Board of beyerdynamic GmbH & Co. KG has named Dutchman Edgar van Velzen (51) as the company’s new managing director and CEO. Together with Wolfgang Luckhardt (57), long-standing managing director, he is now at the helm of the Heilbronn-based, German audio specialist. Most recently, van Velzen was CEO of Teufel GmbH in Berlin.

Europe’s dedicated headphones and accessories show returns in September at a new location. CanJam Europe will be held at the Congress Center Essen, Germany, September 20th and 21st 2014. The second European CanJam is a meeting for headphones friends, music lovers, professional studio users and trade visitors.
