Powersoft Introduces New M-Force Design at 2018 Prolight+Sound

With virtually every single professional audio manufacturer in the world considering or already shipping subwoofer solutions based on Powersoft revolutionary M-Force linear motor technology, introduced to the market in 2013, the Italian company will now demonstrate a new generation M-Force at Prolight+Sound 2018, with a simpler implementation, better thermal dissipation, improved magnetic spring action, and high voltage and current connectors.

Audio-Technica’s new AT-LP5 direct-drive turntable incorporates a J-shaped tone arm outfitted with a lightweight AT-HS10 headshell and high-performance AT95EX Dual Moving Magnet stereo cartridge, created specifically for this turntable. Constructed of anti-vibration damping materials with heavy-mass metal chassis inserts, the AT-LP5 is powered by a direct-drive, high-torque motor, and features a built-in switchable phono/line preamp and USB output.

With the landmark Audio-Technica AT-LP5, consumers have access to a direct-drive turntable in the best tradition of high-fidelity models, at affordable prices. The new AT-LP5, unveiled at the IFA 2015 show in Berlin, features a tonearm based on designs from the sixties, and offers phono, line and USB outputs.
