ON Semiconductor Acquires Fairchild Semiconductor

ON Semiconductor, a relatively young player in the industry but increasingly crucial for the audio industry, announced it will acquire one of the most iconic companies, Fairchild Semiconductor, for $2.4 Billion in Cash.
