Genelec 1237A and 1238A Three-way Smart Active Monitors Are Shipping

The new Genelec 1237A and 1238A Smart Active Monitors (SAM) are tri-amplified systems featuring AutoCal and GLM technologies and powerful Class D amplification. The 1237A and 1238A monitors feature on-board intelligence to automatically tune the frequency response to compensate for acoustical room influences, as well as achieving perfect alignment of levels and distance compensation at the listening position.

Trigence Semiconductor announced at the Computex 2014 Show the latest generation of its Digital Speaker Modules (DSM) technology. Instead of a dedicated audio amplifier and conditioning PCB based on analog D-Class amplifier solutions, the DSM audio boards simply feed and process direct-to-speaker audio data.

Danish company ICEpower launched new amplifiers modules, expanding its class D offering options to the OEM market. The company expanded its ASC Series and introduced a new ultra-compact 16-channel amplifier with 80W per channel in a 1U enclosure.
