Crown Expands DCi Network Series Amplifier Lineup With New Models

Harman’s Crown Audio announced it has added new models to the DriveCore Install (DCi) Network Series amplifier lineup with the introduction of its DCi 4|2400N, DCi 2|2400N and DCi 2|1250N power amplifiers. The new amplifiers incorporate Harman’s exclusive DriveCore technology to deliver high power output from a compact, energy-efficient form factor and offer extensive networked system control capabilities.

An impressive Dante deployment at the Royal Randwick Racecourse in Sydney used Harman’s BSS BLU digital signal processing units to create an audio distribution network of 160-plus channels across 200 acres. The Dante enabled BSS units increased quality and control while minimizing labor and installation costs.

BSS Audio introduced the new Soundweb Contrio system control server during the InfoComm 2014 in Las Vegas. The new server provides advanced control capabilities for professional audio networking, is configurable with HiQnet Audio Architect software, and supports both Harman BLU link and Audinate Dante networks.
