Antares Audio Technology Launches Auto-Tune Slice Hybrid Vocal Sampler and Synthesizer

Antares Audio Technology, the company that created Auto-Tune, continues to push the boundaries of vocal production with the release of Auto-Tune Slice, a hybrid instrument that’s both a precision sampler and flexible synthesizer. The new advanced vocal sampler features an ever-expanding library of exclusive presets, advanced vocal transient detection, built-in effects, and Auto-Tune functionality.

Antares Audio Technologies, the famous creators of Auto-Tune and a leading provider of vocal effects and pitch correction technologies, have introduced Auto-Key, a new free mobile app for iOS devices. By simply tapping a button and holding the phone up to any audio source, Auto-Key Mobile will automatically detect the musical pitch of a song, chord progression, or loop, and display both the major key and relative minor.

During NAMM Believe in Music week, Antelope Audio announced Zen Go Synergy Core, its first USB-C bus-powered, truly portable (4x8) audio interface, available as a powerful DSP-based desktop design powered by the same Synergy Core onboard effects processing platform found in the manufacturer’s top-tier audio interfaces with which it shares its technology, and yet attractively priced in the sub-$500 USD/€500 EUR market segment.

Initially launched in July 2017, Waveform is a completely new recording software, the successor to the popular Tracktion DAW from the reimagined Seattle, WA, company. Tracktion Corporation now announced Waveform 10, their "most creative, inspirational and affordable digital audio workstation to date," as they put it. The latest additions to this rapidly evolving application have been designed specifically for the needs of modern music producers.

Universal Audio announced UAD-2 Live Rack, a robust 16-channel MADI effects processor that allows live sound engineers to craft studio-quality mixes using Realtime UAD Processing and UAD plug-ins — including Antares Auto-Tune Realtime, genuine Teletronix LA‑2A and 1176 compressors, Pultec EQs, and more — right out of the box. Built to withstand the rigors of live sound, users can chain up to four UAD-2 Live Rack units for up to 64 channels of MADI signal processing.
