ATC Announces Availability of SCM12 Pro High-Performance Passive Nearfield Monitors

British loudspeaker specialist and system manufacturer ATC confirmed the availability of its new SCM12 Pro high-performance, two-way compact passive nearfield monitors, as of October 3. As an all-new design, the SCM12 Pro offers ATC’s acclaimed performance at a lower price point without compromising component quality and achieves this in a more compact, installation-friendly footprint ideally suited to nearfield monitoring as well as multichannel music and post-production applications.

Specialist British loudspeaker manufacturer ATC launched the SCM45A Pro — an all-new high-performance, three-way compact active studio monitor — at the 2015 NAMM Show, in Anaheim, California. The new SCM45A Pro features ATC’s new proprietary dual-suspension tweeter, the result of six years of research and development.

The new ATC SCM20ASL Pro (V2) and SCM20PSL Pro monitors are ideally suited to critical nearfield listening applications in all control rooms, LCR surround monitoring in small-to-medium control rooms, and surround channels in medium-to-large control rooms. According to ATC, the new monitors allow more consistent results and reduced listening fatigue.
